Wave goodbye to the Winter blues with a sunny, Spring-themed Bonkers Law Firm Website.
Marc Jobert, a French lawyer, eschewed the standard pictures of solicitors and opted for wheat.
There are obvious aesthetic advantages to decorating a site with golden bran rather than lawyers' faces, but Jobert's screen-spanning slogan reveals he has an endearingly childlike analogy in mind.
Jobert explains, "We are a small firm with one partner trained in France's number one law firm. And we are not afraid to admit it. No faceless gnomes or endless corridors. Here, it is one to one."
And veg to veg, because not only are there no 'faceless gnomes', there are no faces full stop. Instead there is a gallery of photographs of fruit and vegetables. Visitors can expand the snaps for a closer look. It is not clear if they are Jobert’s lunch or his staff, immobile and incompetent but bursting with natural goodness.
RollOnFriday has labelled the pictures for the benefit of office-bound, urban readers.
APPLES
LEAVES
PUMPKIN
CARROT TREE
RASPBERRIES
POISONOUS BERRIES
In a disorientating tonal shift, the other section of the site deals with Jobert's work obtaining compensation for victims of terrorism.
He appears to have determined, correctly, that tragedy might not be best served by photos of lettuce, and employs tasteful black and white landscapes instead. But he couldn't resist adding ‘inspirational’ quotes, lending the page the flavour of a young vegan’s Instagram feed. Presumably survivors of terrorism have more important things on their minds.
Encore, M Jobert.

They do indeed appear to bear all the hallmarks of a strawberry.

Please tell me the first two posters aren't idiots, and are just trying to be ironic in their humour?

I am the second poster. I freely confess my idiocy, and do so non-ironically.
