What is the point of this thread? is it would you break the rules? Or is it would you walk down an iffy dark alley? Given the venom you spit at people who obey the rules I assume the first is a no brainier for you. In respect of the second, doesn’t really seem of genuine application
if you do go, try to enjoy it and talk about other things that would be my tuppenth’s worth
You probably would be but given that many (most) under 40s very rarely darken their GP’s door and could have underlying conditions they aren’t even aware of, you could be number 18.
Probably not. It doesn’t sound that great a do and the prospect a long walk home (half pissed) in the dark is always a fooking moodkill. Unless I get proper steaming then it’s all waheyyyy quite fancy a walk.

I am with PP, parties are awful

It depends on:
the glamour factor
who is hosting
who else is going
the vibe
the fun factor
we need a matrix.

ok now imagine that you are a month into probably several months in which all social contact outside your home will be illegal
0
19
ok it is more cosy than glam
there will be no hot or charming men
but the attendees will be fun and it will be very relaxing chat
the food and drink will be good
but going home will involve going for half an hour up a dark path populated by Youths

and taxis are probably out because
well, yknow

If I were not recovering from flu the answer would probably be yes.

25
I definitely think you should go to the party.
(You aren’t allowed phones in ICU right?).

Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for I am far and away the meanest bastard in the entire valley.

it is a realistic prediction of the next few months
if you don't care by all means don't
but it is harmful for most people

“Most people” hate parties
if parties die, then that’s one silver lining from covid
0
22
laz this is sort of the cruz of the q
normally I hate parties
I mean I love meeting new people and chatting and stuff but how often is a party the place this happens? so rarely
actual life and longed for life are so apart
but in this era where togetherness is forbidden and frankly I might not live to see a time when casual society is taken for granted again?
I dunno
perhaps I should make the most of things I would previously have eschewed
(I probably can't be faffed to get to west lothian tho)

As to your second third and fourth paragraphs - WORD sistah
As to your fifth - unless u r planning to die within the next six months I shouldn’t worry about the hypothetical set out therein
