Just thinking about how stupid it is to care about this
In a few generations, best case scenario, folk will be scraping down your skelington and ruminating on how you must have high status because they buried you with a lapis lazuli iPad or whatever
The only worthwhile things are things you can so with your flesh

Make like a budgie and succeed

A lapis lazuli iPad would be well cool
And we all do what we can to entertain ourselves whilst spinning around on this lonely lump of rock in an uncaring universe, clergs. Caring about success seems not the worst thing to focus on.

Future archaeologists are going to be a bit buggered for skeletons for most of our lot, seeing as we cremate most people. They'll find people's ashes in weird places.

caring about success is exactly why our species will destroy itself if not the planet
and "success" is so pitiful for most people anyway

Isnt it jsut that so many people define success badly? By other people's terms and not their own?
I'm a brilliant daddy/carpenter/unicorn wrangler/writer/pianist/monkeyshaver/friend. These would be better measures. They would make us and those around us happier.
But it would still be hard to discern them from my uranian ashes.

Apols, I expressed myself poorly. "Brilliant" should be an internal definition, i.e. i've achieved what I want to for my own porpoises. Doesnt matter if anyone else wants to hear me play the piano or shave a monkey, as long as I do it well enough for me.
I have no need to be a better pianist/monkeyshaver than anyone else.
Unless inherent to the chosen definition, other people should be irrelevant to determining success.

splendid as a word sums up the English empire imo
(not in terms of what is intended to mean, just how it sounds)
