Sqirrels frequent my garden trying to get at the bird feeders.  I used Vaseline on one of the bird feeder poles and spent half an hour choking on my early morning tea laughing but watching the squirrel sliding down the pole.  (The animal was not harmed).

This reminds me of that video that did the rounds during Covid of the crazy yank inventor who set up the squirrel obstacle course in his garden. That killed a good 30mins of one day of lockdown
