Someone i know vaguely was moaning to me the other day that he had been grassed up by a neighbour for his three dobermans (dobermen?) being off the lead.
They were already subject to an on-the-lead order.
i fear I did not adequately display a fake sympathy face. I did however, refrain from asking him “what sort of can’t has three dobermen”. So that’s a win for my personal maturity right there.

And when one of them bit an old man on the leg and knocked him over while off leash... she just bundled the dog into the car quickly and f*cked off before anyone could take her name or plates.

I think you will get exemption if its alive, neutered and insured.
The exemption is to prevent wholesale culling.
If you do euthanise you can get £200 compensation. Given Euthanasia is paid for by the pound, it'll cost more than that to put a large dog to sleep.
