“a nice tie for work”

This is what beau has requested for his birthday. Please hit me up with links for what you consider a nice tie for work

I do not know where to start

Is he a policeman?  I have not bought a tie for about 8 years though i have a lovely collection from days gone by.  Pink seem to have a nice collection still...most £75 each.

Remember the days when there was a Tie Rack in every shopping centre?

Barristers, undertakers, coach drivers and estate agents now seem to be the only jobs that it’s still normal.

Can't go wrong with a Hermés Façonnée H in a decent colour. It's a bit pricey for a rag, though.

Say away from sporty designs as it will render the tie part useless.

Very sorry Donny but that kind of tie is associated with fat fellows, in shiny too-light blue suit,  gut straining their shirt, and a faint smell of stale pee from their trousers.

I am sure you are a slim athlete in a perfectly fitting Neapolitan dark charcoal wool. Just warning the OP.

Law Person, I actually think Beau would enjoy those Sulka ties, but as I am the one looking at him I will pass.

I have got him an Lancashire Cricket one but wanted a more general one. Donny, I like the design on yours but will probably just get the Next knockoff version

Sulka no longer exists but you can buy vintage.

Geez I wish I hadna heard that. Those ties are gorgeous!. Now I’ll never own a home. The home I so desperately need for storing my already extensive and impractical wardrobe.
