some other american firm willing 2 pay them handsomely

dont get me wrong, well done them, but is there a way i can unsubscribe from this type of news from the legal news sites? it’s relentless

it’s absurd

i mean, sure, a whole team moving etc. might b vaguely interesting, but even that’s not really hot off the press stuff

1 bloke. meh

Kirkland are at the stage now where they’re an institutional player. On both sides of the Atlantic they’re about entrenched, global client relationships. They no longer need to be the biggest payers in town hoping marquee rainmakers will win them new prizes. K&E and Latham are the new magic circle basically.

not sure i completely agree laz

their businesses (latham 2 a lesser degree) r heavily skewed 2wards private capital clients. so i agree with global institutionalisation but the model is purposefully much narrower and targeted 2 the most profitable and least fee sensitive clients

The creatures outside looked from serge to company man, and from company man to serge, and from serge to company man again; but already it was impossible to say which was which
