in house - oil and gas

anyone know what the culture is like? working hours? bonus?

thanks in advance chums

I kinda feel like asking "what are the hours like" at notoriously old school heavy lifting businesses is a bit of a give away that it might not be your cup of tea

but by all means give Glasenberg a tweet and see what he says

One of my close neighbours does this and has done it for years.

He seems pretty happy and from what I can see of his comings and goings the hours don’t seem too brutal at his place.

I suppose it would be quite easy in a pure exploration play focussed on some shithole somewhere or other.  I won't matter what's in your commercial docs because if the locals are going to steal your asset they're going to steal it and the only other thing you'll be doing is churning out our docs for endless series of placings at ever increasing discounts to the previous placing until the original amount invested in the company is worth almost exactly nothing.

What they said

"The plane banked hard as it started its descent.... Inside the small private jet, the stony-faced occupants braced against the stomach-churning corkscrew turns..."

I would guess the answer to your question will be affected by whether you work for a firm that wants to buy oil from Libyan insurgents, or sell it to Mozambique, either one.
