Bundesliga

Is Harry Kane actually really good or is the bundesliga the equivalent of Man Utd playing in league 2 or Man City playing in the premier league.

His PL stats in an often struggling team tell of his quality but he plays for the 10-times defending champions so the better comparison is probably playing for Celtic and banging them in for fun.

Point of order too - Man Utd would struggle in league 2.

Both

He's certainly excellent but Bayern have by far the most money in the league so the citeh analogy is almost right

He was begging for united to sign him. Huge mistake of the glazers not too.

Better for him on the chance of silverware front not to go to Utd.

15/10 and three hatricks must put kane's return rate on a par with the best strikers ever to play in the prem

Well there’s a few advantages of not going to United- he won’t have to play in a decrepit stadium in front of a deathly silent crowd munching on prawn sandwiches and talking about their portfolios.

On the other hand, they would have written him a blank cheque on wages, and playing in front of that many cockneys would have been like a home from home for him.

Once again the Esher tourist shows a stunning (almost wilful) lack of understanding about the game

No wonder people like me (scholars of the game) say it's lost to the working classes.

One thing that annoys me about United's current run of form is the condescending commentators "the United fans are absolutely fantastic, great noise," etc etc

It's almost like middle class people are used to the silent tourist stadiums paid for by state entities and like to condescend the working classes whose club means more to them than the result

Ffs. Football isn't hard to understand. It's just being (or maybe been?) killed by human rights abusers

Harry Kane is actually really good as has been absolutely obvious for years from the number of goals and assists he has racked up at premier league and international level.
