DD have you called a locksmith in London at an inconvenient time? I did something similar a couple of years ago and stayed with a friend then paid best part of £200 for someone to break into my flat and change the locks the following morning.
You've reminded me of a mate of mine who wasn't very used to London and got lost trying to buy cigarettes at 1am, forked out £200 for a hotel and tubed it back to mine the next morning.
We got so smashed in Berlin the other week, couldn't remember where our AirBnB was and both iPhones were dead so we went to a club at about 3am for a kip and to wait until the morning to find somewhere to charge our phones.

Er, having fun obviously.
Judy, obviously Dux thinks you should be at home in bed at 9:30am with a Horlicks. More power to you having the energy to not be, quite frankly.

An emergency locksmith would have charged you less than a ton. Poor decision.

I suppose I could have gone to the vingt-quatre on Fulham Road, but I am not sure that it truly is 24 hours.

Would it be ungallant to ask why you're hiring an hotel room by the hour?
