In one section (the institute for those who know it) of Fallout 4 computer game the developers deliberately put loo roll the wrong way around, purely to wind people like you up because it can’t be changed by the player.
Everyone and again someone posts a pic of it on the fallout 4 reddit and cries ‘dear god why’. It’s more lolsome than the 8million pics of a ‘ghoul slaying gamma gun’... zzzz
Well since we're in the confessional, on the very odd occasion the roll is facing the wrong way I too turn it around.
I told a guy off the other day. He barged into the elevator as soon as the doors opened, so a lady with a pram had trouble getting out. I was behind her. As she manoeuvred I told him, "It's customary to wait for people to exit before you enter the elevator." He looked at me and said, "You're too slow getting out." I told him, "The lady with the pram gets out first amongst civilised people." What I really wanted to say was "You're an absolute fooking tosser in the first degree" but I refrained.
Thanks Duxy, but the woman with the pram and all the bags hanging off allowed me to get in first, so I stood at the back. When the doors opened she moved to get out before me, which reflected the natural positioning in the lift.
Depends on the lift, innit ? Those crafty 1970s ones from Undone Lunderground have a DOOR AT EACH END and opposite doors open at the bottom and the top so that it is FIFO not LIFO. I am not sure if this changes the way title to the passengers passed in the event of insolvency, though.
I always take the stairs anyway as lifts smell of wee and bankers and I hate people.

When you say "the wrong way round" I assume you mean with the available paper nearer the wall rather than the consumer?

Precisely Dux instead of the next available sheet resting gently on the side of the roll closest to the user.

You're too young for Grumpy Old Men sailers. I bet you the loo roll fiend is the guy with the fur baby.

Girkl I may be exaggerating my indignation for Rof purposes but will continue passively aggressively turning the roll round.
I haven't found any of my colleagues referring to fur babies as my colleagues are generally classy people apart from the loo roll fiend.
