I've wasted a chunk of my morning dealing with some new system that work is using to screen us all for criminal records, etc. in connection with SRA requirements. At the end you have to sign it using your mouse or track pad and every time I wrote in a signature with my mouse it would object and insist I use a "complex signature" without saying what that meant. Turned out that it wanted an illegible scrawl rather than my written name.
Not too bad for me which is one of the upsides of working on most of the 365 days a year actually - you spread it out and no shocks or build up of work. Perhaps longer hours are the solution for some.
Not loaded; I will opt for Dignitas when the money runs out. (Will they expect you to have made arrangements on what to do with the body? Can you arrange for it to be cremated in Switzerland?)
I can't really go into detail here but today work can just fook all the way off. Usually, I don't feel like this on a Monday (remarkably, I usually get to about Thursday before I get pissed off), but its all so fvcking negative.
Ah, that's kind. Today I feel and look like an angry old harridan.
But, Ash, I can tell you that I bought a new puppy at the weekend and am collecting him at the end of the month so I do have something to look forward to.
Yes thank you for the update. Do you recall that great thread Dogs of Rof. I can’t find it. On quite a number of occasions recently animals have saved me from the kind of despair I am getting looking at PCSCA 22.

the worst thing about Monday morning is having to deal with all the shit you put off until after the weekend on Friday afternoon

I have a job interview today at 1, a final on Thursday and a 4th round for another co next week.
this is infinitely worse than the work itself.
interview processes have not improved they have become even more cumbersome, layered and stressful.

What's the actual downside of just taking the rest of the day off?
Srsly...life's too short, and you're too beautiful to be stressed on a Monday.

Terrible afternoon. I have reread this to gain solace. Hope the new dog is going well. I dreamt I had a dog. I was so pleased and proud.
