Really has been pathetic this season. Why did we go up? Combination of Buendia and Pukki. Sell one (which I accept we had to) and we couldn’t score in the proverbial house of ill-repute.
Can’t see Farke hanging on much longer. First time we bounced, we had come up a season too early and always expected relegation. This time however we should at least be able to put up a fight and haven’t even shown a glimmer.
Roll on 2021/22 with another promotion push and the chance we might actually beat someone!
v bad of course, but we’ve just played away at the top team in the league and they r brimming with confidence
we need c.40 points to stay up and when u look at our opening nine fixtures so far:
mansitty away
liverpool home
chelsea away
arsenal away
everton away
leicester home
brighton home
watford home
burnley away
any relegation battlers would look at those fixtures and be realistic that the only real aberration of a result was to lose to watford
and on top of that we got extremely unlucky not to get something from arsenal and leicester matches and really should have beaten brighton based on performance
the problem is that being given such a rank start means the team’s confidence is completely shot. we desperately need a lucky break to give the players a lift, they’ve had nothing but bad refereeing decisions and horror deflections on the luck side

Always humiliating when you have a score that is so big that on the old vidi-printer they had to spell it out so you knew you weren’t seeing things:
Chelsea 7 (seven): Norwich 0

Very kind of them to volunteer for relegation so early in the season. They might also beat the Derby record of the lowest point score in the prem

we’ve now got a run of leeds, brentford, wolves, southampton and newcastle
end of this five match stretch will dictate whether we really r as doomed as we look or actually we’ve got a decent shot at staying up
it will be just our luck that hanley gets sent off and banned for three matches and normann injured

Why do lawyers repeat numbers in documents?
Eg 'if shit happens X shall notify Y within seven (7) business days'.

because they are often financially illiterate and can't be trusted to write one million in numbers correctly.

financially/numerically

Yet you trust them to draft every other term correctly and without paraphrasing it in parenthesis, however critical it may be.

And by the way, if they write '1,000,000 (one thousand)', how exactly does that help anyone?
In other words, if they get it right the repetition adds nothing and if they get it wrong you're lost anyway.

do I?

i guess the advantage of the 1,000,000 (one thousand) thing is it at least demonstr7s there was a difference of understanding
whereas if u write 1,000,000 when actually u meant 1,000 ur fooked
