Week nights I have to go home after four pints and given how early these things tend to start that would mean leaving about 8.30pm. Fridays there's no curfew as I don't have to worry about going to work with a hangover.
I can't really do midweek drinks as I'm terrible with a hangover. Standard drinks are fine. Last Christmas drinks I ended up wandering off on my own, got home around 2ish, was just about able to stay out for our annual Christmas brunch thing but had to head home at 6 because I was dying.

I would prefer Fridays, but would not rule out mid-week drinks (but that would mean karaoke was out of the question).
