It's the most wonderful time of the year, when the most glamorous Glamorous Solicitors of the last 12 months are lined up for your discerning eye.

Every Friday RollOnFriday frames and mounts a Glamorous Solicitor, then hides their portrait away until the annual competition.

To qualify for Law's National Portrait Gallery, subjects must have the Z factor. A GlamSol is far more than someone with a practising certificate and a twinkle in their eye.

Success has nothing to do with looks, and everything to do with having a look. A scowl, or a striking smile, or an eye-popping stare or an amazing haircut would all count. Merely being bald, or unfortunate-looking, or very good-looking, would not. Judicious use of props and costumes, and terrible lighting effects, are valid.

This year, we've selected a baker's dozen for Round One. Have a look below, then vote for your favourites. The six with the most votes will go through to the semi-final next week.
