In the morning if my face is a little puffy I’ll put on an ice pack while doing stomach crunches. I can do 1000 now. After I remove the ice pack I use a deep pore cleanser lotion. In the shower I use a water activated gel cleanser, then a honey almond body scrub, and on the face an exfoliating gel scrub. Then I apply an herb-mint facial mask which I leave on for 10 minutes while I prepare the rest of my routine. I always use an after shave lotion with little or no alcohol, because alcohol dries your face out and makes you look older. Then moisturizer, then an anti-aging eye balm followed by a final moisturizing protective lotion.
There was some kind of saying when I was younger about women having to pick between a good face or a very slim body after a certain age and you couldnt have both. I think that is a bit of a myth across the board
It's for precisely this that Botox was invented!!!
It’s the under-eye bags I hate, otherwise I look alright. My strategy is to press a cold can of Coke Zero on them for a minute, then some Elemis Pro Collagen Marine Cream. It doesn’t work.
My friends who are into this stuff (ie Americans) assure me that it’s profilo (sp?) that provides the oomph clergs. also one of them is on somE mad expensive 12 week skin programme from dr obagi and she is positively glowing.
I cbf with any of that stuff - I’m going to wait til I’m 55 and then just go straight for a facelift.
Well, wanting to look younger is futile but i think you can look like a hotter version of your age. And as an ugmo youth maybe this is my time to shine. Maybe. Not so far.
Yeah but by and large I don’t think anti wrinkle type stuff does that (makes you look better “for your age”) - unless you have horrible skin in which case knock yourself out. I reckon all the laser resurfacing etc is probably better, haven’t tried any but there is a sort of glowy 40 something thing that I see some of the mums at the school gate have.
Honestly I think keeping a trim (not super skinny, just trim) figure and dressing well with good jewellery is a much more effective strategy than trying to win facially. Spend the money you’d spend on Botox on a few cool pieces of clothing every quarter (is that how often Botox happens??) and you’d be laughing
Also and most importantly all this beauty stuff is incredibly boring and if you work and are time constrained an incredibly irritating drain on your free time. Have come to the conclusion that if I was a cashed up lady of leisure I’d def do some of these treatments but I want to spend the limited time I have on more fun things.

Botox stops wrinkles but it doesn't provide oomph

That cream makes me look like I've been slapped (which I assume means it's hard at work)

At what point during LB's morning routine are his balls re-attached? Presumably at the end if at all?

My aesthetician (ahem) said she can't do profhilo immediately under the eyes.
It probably is as well to not bother with ephemera tbh.

Hola
popping back briefly
oh I can see perhaps under the eyes is tricky
iirc one friend had some kind of acid (hyarulonic?) injected there. It sounds gruesome.
every time I look at my 4&6 year old kids’ luminous perfect skin I am reminded of how futile an exercise all this is
So best to just stop looking in mirrors I feel. Focus on inner beauty (Ho Ho Ho don’t have any of that either as I turn into an intemperate crone)

I usually look at my face, turn over, go back to sleep and when I wake up, it's all fixed.
