Me..maintain low bodyfat whilst adding 2-3kg of lean muscle. Improve flexibility and agility. Considering TRT to assist. Emerge in Spring an even better version of myself.
2-3kilos of 'lean' muscle (what other sort is there???) In a few months?
Unless you are on the juice, and a lot of it, at your age that is basically impossible
As someone who is absolutely rigged up and probably adds 1-2kgs of muscle A YEAR and is probably 20 years younger than you, you might want to have more realistic goals
Gimp = set your target in Ms climbed rather than distance. I think I did 100,000m one year which seems a good benchmark. Pure cyclists generally have terrible all round physiques and poor core so plan sounds good.
I'm hoping for better weather for the day I do it than the one my mate did with gale force winds. He said it was close to torture over the tops pushing out 200w power and going backwards.
Pugnose, I've had the same goal but am 500km behind you. All except 500km have been on an indoor turbo though so it's sort of cheating.
it all counts - i have done about 3,000 of my total this year on Zwift. It's just different, not cheating. I find indoor is just as taxing in some ways because there are no breaks effectively, constant pedalling.
I'm at 85,000 metres of climbing so should get through the 100,000 vertical metres target
was watching a docco with Johan Museeuw who despite being 58 and retired for 19 years still manages 25,000 km a year

Ah, unfortunately it is actually physically impossible to exercise outdoors in winter.
I mean you might think it is, but we were assured by one of rof's leading experts a year or two back that this is not in fact the case.

goal at start of the year was to do 10,000 km on the bike this year. I'm currently at 9,500 so will be through the target by mid-November.
General goal is to keep trucking on that front, I could probably benefit from some core stability exercises too.

Yes. Do slow easy stretching exercises for a peaceful hour every evening. By Spring I will be as flexible and hyper-extendy as a cat.
