It's RollOnFriday's summer holidays, but despair, because we've put together a mini staycation edition.

There's a stupid quiz and a lot of smartarse answers, and while we're at it, here's a countdown of the stories which captured the most eyeballs in the first half of 2020. Advance warning: it's pretty one note.

While the RollOnFriday Firm of the Year 2020 results did manage to grab a spot, and a Black Lives Matter kerfuffle got a look-in, the rest is all virus. Many date from lockdown, when thousands of people in the legal sector, along with everyone else, were stuck at home and hungry for information. Six months of social distancing later, the news that Baker McKenzie was shutting its office to muzzle a potential covid outbreak, the eighth most-read story, seems rather quaint.
