I wonder whether the pretty shambolic way that testing has (not) gone is symptomatic of having too many Professors in charge of these various bureaucratic bodies (PHE etc etc).
They are probably excellent at research and academia but I wonder whether they have the ability to actually run a whelk stall?
Get in the Royal Corps of Logistics pronto and they would have the testing mess sorted in a week.

Pretty illustrative of the RLC. If you knew some of the names we call them you wouldn't put them in charge of testing. They are often the corps of last choice for people joining up.

Those soldiers deffo weren't RLC - look like Cornish Special Forces to me.
