Yeah, they do, Spotify needs to catch up, they've been promising a hi-fi tier for about 2 years, supposedly still happening by the end of this year, will believe it when I see it.
Using spotify with a proper amp is a bit nuts. Worth coughing up for Tidal for that.
I do have spotify as it has all the crap the kids like from movies etc (which Tidal doesn't). Only gets played in the car/on the Alexa speakers. Can't say I have noticed any difference in sound quality but am usually trying NOT to listen.
No ducks, even on the very best gear very few people can hear a difference. The whole point of audio compression codecs is to remove only inaudible information.
As Wonckworth says, it's actually pretty hard to hear the difference between Spotify @320kb/s and something CD quality lossless most of the time. I did endless A/B comparisons when deciding to give up my CD collection and choose a streaming platform.

Given what they pay artists they don’t deserve any of your money time or attention

Not noticed any difference here (premium, Spotify connect streamed into a proper hi-fi amp and speakers).
Still waiting for details of a new higher bitrate service...

I think both Amazon and Apple offer enhanced quality as standard now?

If your internet connection slows, e.g. router overloaded, Spotify automatically sends more compressed files, unless you've turned the feature off.
Re Spotify hifi, you'll never hear any difference unless you're a highly trained listener using professional gear.
