In the main it has not been an issue for my short journey, save the trains are usually delayed by 5 minutes sometimes. I suspect it might be bedlam as Christmas holidays approach, or for those doing long journeys of an hour plus or so.
Properly tedious as most of Earlsfield and environs is cramming itself onto the Northern Line so it's taking me an hour to get to work instead of 45 minutes.
Brilliant - on the way in to London there are three fast trains that leave within the space of 5 mins, which means the last one is always close to empty. On the way back, I have had no issues - always got on a train within 5-10 mins of turning up to Waterloo. So far, they have all run on time too.
(The caveat being that I travel at the end of/just after the rush hours.)
This is the only thing I do not miss about London. I used to travel back to Wimbledon from Wimbledon park to get on at the start and then either at Earlsfield or Fulham you'd be knee deep in men in gilets and women with Longchamp/Burberry/Coach bags and boring engagement rings.

Bit of a pain in the evenings, but mornings are ok.

My sister does that commute, she was saying that mornings are fine, reduced service but predictable. By evening it is a total lottery

I've been late every morning since they started despite leaving home earlier than normal.
