Just because they're f**king awful and their music has zero redeeming features. None. Not one.

Like U2, it's music for people who don't actually like music, but quite enjoy the act of spending money on records (or, now, MP3s). And spinsters with too many cats. 

Simply Red are a lot better than musos give them credit for. He’s written some great songs and he has a great voice. H8z gonna. 

There was a period, prior to Bono's head getting stuck too far up his own arse, that U2 were actually very good.
