But Israel has the most moral army in the world....

Fewer than 1% of all complaints against Israeli soldiers result in prosecutions.

Odd article.  The kid they shot at was obviously trying to light and throw a pipebomb, it's clear from the video, so little justification to doubt the IDF photo of it on the ground afterwards.  It's equally obvious from the BBC's own shot analysis that the other kid who got shot while running away was probably not targeted - he was almost directly behind the bomb thrower and just picked up a stray round.

The IDF are guilty of a lot of crimes, but ironically the BBC have picked one where they aren't.

Warren- you’re saying the IDF were justified to shoot children?

I don’t care what a kid been accused of doing, you don’t kill an 8 year old child- the fact this has to be argued is ludicrous frankly.

He's not accused of doing anything, he WAS doing it - you might want to watch the video.  If you are in the process of throwing explosives at soldiers, then I'm afraid you absolutely deserve to be shot.  What's your view then, if someone was preparing to throw a pipe-bomb at you, you'd just let them as long as they were a teenager or younger?

The 8 year old wasn't deliberately shot, it was almost certainly a stray bullet aimed at the bomber.

Another bullet struck eight-year-old Adam in the back of the head as he ran away; his older brother Baha desperately tried to drag him to cover, leaving a trail of blood as he screamed for an ambulance.

POW!!

THINK YOU CAN RUN AWAY FROM THE IDF LITTLE BOY?!?

THINK AGAIN!!

A guy introduced himself to me yesterday and said that he was a junior doctor.

I told him that he was disgusting.

When he asked why, I told him that his kind are responsible for more hospital strikes than the Israeli Air force.

HA HA HA HA HA!!

HA HA HA!!

HA HA HA HA HA!!

Warlord , give it a rest with the offensive shizzle, its blinding obvious that the IDFs RoE has become so vague as to be meaningless for discipline purposes when dealing with (not just) civilians but the obviously vulnerable like children

The trouble for Israel is a. that when it gets this loose then the guns can be turned on Israelis just as easily and b. you then have a lot of former soldiers talking openly about what they got up to in ‘23/‘24

Good luck with the lols then

CAN YOU IMAGINE HOW TERRIED IDF SOLDIERS MUST HAVE BEEN?!?

A few hundred metres away, a convoy of at least six armoured Israeli military vehicles turned a corner and began heading towards the boys, who clearly became uneasy. Several of the boys started to move away.

THEY WERE ONLY AT LEAST SIX ARMOURED MILITARY VEHICLES, BEING CONFRONTED BY A GROUP OF NINE BOYS SEVERAL HUNDRED METRES AWAY!!

There were about nine boys on the street in total… Several of the boys started to move away.

THE IDF SOLDIERS COULD HAVE RETREATED FROM THE ARMY OF NINE BOYS, THEY COULD EVEN HAVE JUST IGNORED THE NINE BOYS, BUT THEY DIDN’T!! THEY REMEMBERED THEIR IDF TRAINING AND BRAVELY GUNNED THEM DOWN INSTEAD!!

DAKADAKADAKA NOT SO TOUGH NOW ARE YOU LITTLE BOYS!!

Not counting child fatalities since October 7 (which are of course astronomical) it is reported that the IDF has killed over 2000 Palestinian children over the last two decades. Self-defence was it?

GOOD MARKSMANSHIP

Disgusting behaviour from individual soldiers

I haven't seen the IDF rules of engagement but I am presuming they don't say 'feel free to shoot kids' so it's right and proper anyone found doing it is punished in accordance with the law and generals/leaders put on trial for war crimes
