“If a man turned up without underwear and let you know he wasn’t wearing it, would he be sent home? I don’t think he would."

heh@this

maybe not for the not wearing underwear but definitely for the letting me know

I used to have a trainee who did this.  Had to have one of the female assocs have a word with her.  If it's the size of a watermelon with a pepperami sticking out, it is not OK to wear nothing but a white shirt...

I wouldn't wear a bra at school (or home) as a matter of principle. We had a sixth trip to the local courts on a hot day and my head mistress asked to see me. I had a jacket with me which would fasten up down the front so we agreed I would make sure it stayed fastened up.

It's quite an interesting issue. Some people might find the sight of a woman's ankle erotice as the Victorians did - hence skirts to the ground and indeed you probably don't show your ankles in ultra orthodox areas in London or in some muslim areas. There were some disputes in parts of New York as female joggers in running clothes were running on public roads where some residents did not want the female body to be seen.

bra wearing for some women should be compulsory - in the same way as should it be prohibited for fat people to wear lycra/tight clothes. it's just good manners really but sadly the law must intervene where manners are disregarded.

of course if emily ratjowski worked in your office the question doesn't need to be asked. there was some puff about her new film in the es magazine on friday - i'd put money on it being titanically bad.

Indeed.

"interesting".

Not... yknow... backwards, oppressive, worrying.
