Have we done LiVARpool?

Moaning twots.

For a team that has had a very much more than fair share of dodgy VAR decisions go their way they should wind their necks in when the odd one goes against them.

Plus they thought Suarez was the victim after he very clearly racially abused a black player.

and all the heinous shit they did in the 80s.

Something‘s seriously wrong with VAR when it can’t even get right decisions like offside which should be fairly clear cut. And it should be nowhere near judgement calls unless there is a clear error or something missed by the ref.

VAR itself seems to work as a technology, but the implementation by the FA and PGMOL is terrible. You have to remember that the people who sign up to administer and officiate football are mostly people who were shit at playing it and have a chip on their shoulder about it.

Worth noting the var person refereed in question was paid a quite considerable sum (well above market) to referee a game in Abu Dhabi not 72 hours before the Liverpool game. He fly back first class on Etihad airways

Who benefitted from these very dodgy decisions?

You guessed it - Etihad sponsored (at above market rate) Abu Dhabi fc

I'm a very public defender of football, proper football clubs and the working classes

I despise human rights abusers

If you are willing to imprison or murder someone because of who they fancy, you are willing to bribe a ref

This is a weird one. The claim is that they thought the goal had been awarded, so VAR complete was issued to (they claim) approve the awarding of the goal, rather than overturning an incorrect decision.

But why did VAR show the photo absent the famous red and blue lines. I've never seen that before. I think we do need to hear the audio from the room - it just feels fishy.

If you want to see a football stitch up, watch the path to "cup" glory in Messi's first month or two in the USA. No spoilers, but it is completely compelling and he should never have demeaned himself by letting it happen.

If you’re British, whether you are pro or anti the Monarchy (without being an Anarchist) there are still points of collective cohesion.

There is also the option to shut the fook up and decline to sing, but to still respect your fellow citizen.

I don’t agree RR.

Quite prossibly a generational thing but I don think I’m out of step with my generation which is a fairly large quorum (which your’s and those younger than are going to be paying for. Even if some of us look younger than you. Course I’m going to be fooking able to join you on the Barmy tour. ‘If’. My arse).

Presumably he would also want the two red cards that livarpool players received to be scrubbed because the match they lost didn't count. I hope they do replay it and spurs win 5-0.

As a Chelsea fan it's tough for me to say, but I would absolutely love a replay to see the Scouse handed the mother of all spankings. Their vileness as a club knows no bounds.

When you walk through a storm

hold your head up high

and don't be afraid of the dark

at the end of the storm there's a golden sky

and the sweet silver song of the lark

Walk on through the wind

Wall on through the rain

Though your dreams be tossed and blown

Walk on, walk on, with hope in your heart

and you'll never walk alone

YOU'LL NEVER WALK ALONE

anyway, we don't have champions league to worry about this year so there's always room for a replay.  We could play Europa in the afternoon and beat Spurs that evening

I look forward to fans, managers and players of every other club accepting pisspoor decisions with a shrug of the shoulders and a ’well never mind, these things happen’ attitude.

There is a fair distance between whinging about a dodgy decision for a day or two like normal folk and the 5 day self pity fest that LiVARpool have been on including their manager holding a press conference to demand a replay.

It is funny though, nearly as funny as that time the livarpool fan knocked a balloon onto the pitch which stopped a certain goal. 😂

Still nowhere near as funny as Stevie G slipping over. 🤣

"As a Chelsea fan it's tough for me to say, but I would absolutely love a replay to see the Scouse handed the mother of all spankings. Their vileness as a club knows no bounds"

Lessons in footballing morality from a Chelsea fan. Peak buffoonery has been attained.
