I don't think it's very easy to argue that the delays to new generation UK nuclear power stations have been driven by environmentalists tbh

I think we have had days when the entire country has run on 100 per cent renewable energy have we not?

Is nuclear really 0 carbon? It always seems quite polluting to me in terms of disposal of the waste etc.
