Shrinkflation with drawing adequate attention should be illegal. It is obviously done in the hope people will not notice. If it is done it should be compulsory to label in large letters for a period of at least six months "New. Smaller size"

Summersails there are all sorts of things you could theoretically discover for yourself but consumer protection nonetheless requires is adequately labelled on the basis that most shoppers dont look at all the details on every packet in tiny detail when shopping. Reducing from 250g to 200g is a huge reduction and should be properly labelled.
