A lawyer has put his law degree up for sale on Ebay, with a reserve price of $100,000, to try to fund his mucky website.

David Wold posted the advert on Ebay along with a diatribe about how the degree has only brought him "stress and misery" and qualified him "to work at least 60 hours a week at a place where I don't want to be for people that I don't care about". The auction has now ended, but you can see a screen grab here.

Apparently he is so disenchanted with the profession to have decided to pack it in and sell videos of him and his girlfriend engaging in a variety of intimate acts instead. David gave the address of the site on Ebay. Do not click on it. It will set off all sorts of alarms in your IT dept and watching a couple who are, to be charitable, no Brad and Angelina is not for those with a weak stomach.

    Cheap at the price

As David himself points out, buying a degree certificate doesn't technically qualify the purchaser to act as a lawyer. As he explains:

"Please note that I am in no way claiming that by purchasing this degree you will be given credit for having attended an accredited law school and completing its course of study nor will it give you the necessary credentials to take the bar exam. You will not be able to become a lawyer by purchasing this degree. However this would make a great collectible if your name happens to be David Wold."

Hmm.
