A lawyer at TLT became the victim this week of an unprovoked attack by a buzzard.

Stuart Urquhart was out jogging whilst on holiday in Cornwall when the bird swooped and dug its talons into his head. Three 6cm gashes on his scalp meant that he finished in hospital having a tetanus injection.

Urquhart believed the reason he was attacked was because he looked like a "big, slow rabbit". However, rather than taking the hint and giving up jogging for the rest of his holiday, he invested in a hat as a cunning disguise. Which completely failed to work as he was attacked by the buzzard a second time, although on this occasion he avoided any injury.

Responding to concerns that the repeated attacks might be evidence of some form of buzzard vendetta against Urquhart, a TLT spokeswoman told RollOnFriday that "Stuart is a very nice man so I'm sure it can't have been personal".
