The firm's website appears - at first glance - perfectly normal. Not only is Kennedy Spanner's advice practical and cost-effective, it'll also "take the time to listen to you and understand the issues that are important to you". So far, so much marketing guff. Even Slaughter and May probably hands out those kind of platitudes now.

Where Kennedy Spanner take the lead is on the page entitled 'Philosophy'. Prepare your hankie now. All those years studying and photocopying into the early hours - just why do lawyers bother? Well the reasons, at least if you work at Kennedy Spanner, are:

All these are, of course, fine and noble. But
