What a weekend... it was a rather flush bar we were dragged off to on Friday. At least - it rhymed with flush. Hush, off Bond Street and in a hidden little courtyard, is a delightful little gem frequented by the beautiful well-heeled people and then loafers like us who sort of lounge in an uncomfortable way saved only by the low level lighting.

Hush is a dream in purple - a lounging bar where it's all about a bit of quiet fun with friends whilst draped across the inviting soft furnishings. The love level lighting keeps things subdued and intimate - even when it's full of people. The drinks are quick-flowing (especially with table service) and you'll be happily surprised that the bill isn't as extravagant as the surroundings would suggest.

Not the Hush drink we had in mind....

Aside from the drinks (champagnes, wines, beers and cocktails expertly mixed) you'll be a damn fool not to try one of the bar snacks - the duck spring rolls in particular are the stuff of legend.

With all of that, the influx of beautiful model-looking people from nearby Bond Street and Vogue House would probably make Hush more Heaven on Earth than anywhere we've ever loafed...
