Ever fancied running up 1,512 steps? No, us neither but this is for a very worthwhile cause. Humanitarian organisation Action Against Hunger, together with the Financial Times, are organising the FT London Twin Peak Challenge. Participants will be racing up both CityPoint and Broadgate Tower - covering 935 feet in total - on Sunday 7 November 2010 to raise money for the charity. And they're looking for runners.

I might just take the lift......

There are incentives. All participants will take part a warm-up session from a team of fitness instructors from the CItyPoint Club and there'll be free drinks and grub after the event plus a complimentary message. And if that's not enough to tempt you - maybe the knowledge that you'll be raising much needed funds for Action Against Hunger's projects assisting malnourished children in over 40 countries might spur you on.

If you want to take part, wither individually or in a team of four, please click here.
