Greeting from RollOnFriday to Simon Gomersall and his team of intrepid lawyers from Radcliffe Le Brasseur who are raising money for for two worthy causes, Oxfam and the Ghurka Welfare Trust.

And how are they doing this? Sitting in a bath of beans? Shaving their heads?

No. they're going to spend 30 hours of a July weekend together. Straight. With no sleep. Together. That in itself must be enough to secure generous sponsorship.

Like this, but not

But they won't just be sitting in the office (it's not like every other weekend). Instead, they've have entered Trailwalker, joining a host of other teams (including some of the afoermentioned Ghurkas) on a 100 km non-stop trek along the South Downs from Chichester to Brighton on the weekend of 16/17 July 2011. Not exactly the Marathon Des Sables, but if you have some spare cash you can sponsor Simon's team here.

You can find out more about the event (and the charitable causes) here http://www.oxfam.org.uk/trailwalker
