At times we feel we've been a little slack in addressing the needs of the females in our lives. We're not saying we're male chauvinists or misogynists - just slightly inconsiderate in our reviews as it's mainly about boy things. We just wanted to flag that up and apologise - by doing something possibly even more sexist and politically incorrect by advocating buying our special women something frilly, lacy and slinky. That'll keep their little heads happy and free of worrisome thoughts so they can concentrate on keeping themselves pretty...etc [This is clearly a joke so please don't complain as it will only make us cry].

Lingerie.

That's right, we're going to talk about lingerie. It is, surprisingly, something we know very little about despite having viewed thousands of sets of lingerie over the years (many of those observations were carried out in our inbetweener years btw). We didn't really understand the changing fashion of lingerie and that they can be somewhat vintage. It's amazing what you can do whilst covering so little flesh.

However, with lingerie genius Ayten Gasson, we have our best guide to vintage-lacy-silky-frilly stuff (it's probably best not to google 'Ayten Gasson' at work). All of her pieces are carefully designed (inspired by classic themes) and hand-made in the UK. Moreover, real vintage Nottingham lace can often be found on pieces - your piece will definitely be unique - perhaps making you (or your lady or both) feel extra special.

The range is astonishing - not just the colours and the designs, but the types too - bras, knickers, teddies, corsets, kimonos and camisoles (amongst others). The combinations and possibilities boggled our tiny little brains. Best of all, the lingerie is feminine and very...erm... interesting... without being tasteless. That's very important we're told - not just to us but to many across the globe as AG is now stocked in the luxury boutiques around the world.

Lingerie - if we knew being less man-focussed would be so beneficial, we would have done this ages ago.

Who knew the 1950's was so sexy?
