It's not often that RollOnFriday has cause to take you by the hand and lead you into the glamorous world of legal costings. But thankfully, Gibbs Wyatt Stone (defendant costs specialists, as if you didn't know) has given us a perfect excuse with the launch of its new t-shirt range.

Made for anyone who's ever lamented the lack of legal costs themed garments, these t-shirts feature such pithy phrases as:

"Actually, I think you'll find it was Lord Scott who gave the dissenting judgment in Callery v Gray"

"My boss read all 663 pages of the Preliminary Jackson Report plus appendices and all 557 pages of the Final Jackson Report and all I got was this lousy t-shirt"

"No, I'm fine. I work in legal costs. I always look this miserable"

Be the target of your friends' eternal pity envy and snap one up pronto.

And for anyone who still hasn't had their fill of cost law japery, insurance bods Box Legal have come up with a snazzy little game for you to help while away those empty hours. Enjoy.

Glad to see I am not the only lawyer who likes to create the odd t-shirt.

My favourite so far is "mum and dad went to Dignitas and all I got was this lousy £1m inheritance" - http://www.zazzle.com/mum_dad_went_to_dignitas_tshirt-235152697832294655

Also, can anyone name the gorgeous City solicitor who was prepared to lie on the floor of the Tate Gallery under the nose of an aeroplane for me to take the picture that appears on this T-shirt ? Clue: her first name is Jane ;-)
