Hogan Lovells has increased the salary for NQs by almost 8% from £65,000 to £70,000 - meaning that their NQs are now taking home the same amount of wedge as Slaughter and May.  Any changes to salaries for 1PQE and above are yet to be announced.

The increase means that, as things stand, Hogan Lovells NQs will be paid more than their NQ pals at Magic Circle firms (Slaughters aside).

And it's not just HogLove NQs who will be happy as they bring home the bacon. Salaries for trainees also go up from £39,500 to £41,000 for the first year and from £45,000 to £46,000 for second year trainees.
