i left my son's blazer at work this morning and had to go back for it.
All the parking spaces were then gone and I was late for work.
I'm working through lunch.
I've a closing today.
I don't know what time I'll get to collect my son from his childminder.
It's nearing the end of the month.
I've no money left and Oh I probably won't get paid this month as I signed up to a profit share scheme under what is now becoming apparent as a false pretence.
I'm told there are no profits so it's just too bad.
There is no automatic entitlement to drawings has become the standard response to any request for payment.
It would be lovely if I was making this up but unfortunately it's all true.
Be warned all would be lawyers.
Nobody told you about this in law school.
You become a drone.
A cog in the wheel of a fee making machine.
Even if your fees are good and mine are, you're at the mercy of bad decisions by equity partners that suck up  fees into a black hole and you'll never get to see any of it.
lesson of the day.
being a lawyer equates with long hours, stress levels through the roof, you don't get to see your family and they're tired of you complaining if you do, so they don't want to see you anyway, oh and yes you don't get paid.
If anyone begs to differ then I would be happy to hear from them.
Back to my ball and chain........
