This week, it's BPP. They wouldn't take all your money and leave you with no prospects or potential to pay it back, ever in your entire life, would they?

BPP University College urges students not to give up on higher education and training

This month’s student demonstrations and parliamentary debate around raising tuition fees should not deter people from studying for a degree, warns the leader of the UK’s first private university in over three decades. As the vote went through parliament, many potential students will be re- thinking their future.

Carl Lygo, CEO of BPP University College said:

It’s not all doom and gloom - in fact, many students will benefit from better run universities, and must not overlook the fact that continuing with higher education still gives a head start for longer term career prospects. Like it or not, employers will move you to the top of the CV pile if you can show that you have spent time either studying for a degree, seeking professional training, or have some form of practical work experience under your belt.

BPP University College, which has its own degree awarding powers, has places available for business and law students on undergraduate programmes that start in January. BPP’s tuition fees are the same as those of any other university, and people are eligible for student loans in the same way as students at any other higher education institution.

There is a considerable number of people who may have put their decision to start a degree last September on hold, due to the uncertainty surrounding fees and places. By running a start date in January, we are giving them another chance to secure a place on our business, finance or law programmes.

For those who are still not sure about whether a full time University course is for them, there are plenty of part-time options, and our professional training arm is seeing a steady increase in numbers of people choosing to enter the workplace at 16, and study for a professional qualification at the same time – like the Association of Accounting Technician’s (AAT) exam. Likewise, it’s never too late to return to, or take up study – we expect to see an increase in mature students in the future, given that the government has announced improved support in the form of loans for part time study.

Remember kids, you too could get a place at BPP. All you need to do is apply (literally, that is all you need to do. Well, that and pay a load of cold hard cash).
