CMS Cameron McKenna is today "reaping the rewards" of its new bespoke premises in Aberdeen.

The "Aberdeen firm" [sic] has installed a "semi-automatic electronic partition" (eh?) as part of its refit in the Granite City. It's the first of its kind to be installed in the UK, they think.

Space Solutions - Aberdeen-based "workspace designers" - have very kindly sent news of the refit to The Source. Who has visited some pretty impressive offices in his time.

So what might one expect from this brave new world of office interiors? Gleaming control panels, flashing lights, marble surfaces, flunkies on the hunt for gnat droppings, stunning vistas over the glorious Scottish landscape? After all, Space Slutions have spent a year planning the changes. This must be brilliant, yeah?

Nope. This is what they've done. Installed a set of cruddy conservatory doors at Fawlty Towers. A board room make worse by the addition of a sad pot plant in the corner and a view out over a brick wall.

Money well spent. Extra haggis all round.
