As a brand of clothing, we've been long term fans of Jakes - whether we're shopping at their Berwick Street boutique or their straight-forward online website, we happily spend our hard earn bucks on the latest Jakes offering.
Jake Gyllenhaal - nothing to do with Jakes clothing, but we just thought this photo deserved inclusion
Jakes was set up as a way to fund the care and upbringing of Jake who was born with cerebral palsy - so you can wrap up in your Jakes gear safe in the knowledge that you're doing some good in the world. A nice idea make the invisible hand do some good given the recent troubles...
To be honest, even without the good cause, we'd happily devour the vintage tees that Jakes churn out - it is certainly iconic and well supported by people like David Beckham (we love Becks).
