Sara Bodle, A&O trainee, takes up the tale:
"In a moment of madness, the Allen & Overy Ladies' Football Team thought it would be a great idea to sign up for the London-Brighton bike ride on 20th June and cycle 56 miles to raise money for the British Heart Foundation.
Training has been interesting, especially as some of us haven't been on a bike since childhood, but has been made easier with the incentive of a few ice-creams on the beach when we finally get down there!
A different sort of footballing bicycle
So if you'd like to help make the pain and lycra worthwhile, all 8 of us, and the BHF, would be extremely grateful for any monetary encouragement."
