Old-timers on RoF

Following on from the other thread, who is RoF's Father of the House?

Laz and Diceman were here in '02. Surely Mutters was too? I'm '04.

always too shy to turn up to rof drinks but I'm possibly the only person that has seen Hugey in the flesh.

He didn't know it - we happened to be in the same restaurant and I overheard his convo with his boyf - but, goodness me, what a lot of flesh it was to see.

Right fat fooker he was.

I had lurked a little bit (or at least read the news) since mid 2006. Started posting in mid 2007 when I was newly single after a long term relationship, back living in London on my own (after years of commuting from the sticks) and feeling pretty adrift actually.

Joined when Tuscie, Boo, Trix, Kitt et al were the centre of gravity of rof drinks. I can't completely remember the order of the early drinks I went to but it was book club (I was nervous as hell that people might actually have read the book properly and have clever things to say about it. Turns out I needn't have worried...) and Nurse Ducket's birthday drinks when I first met lots of people.

So many often weird, often wonderful and always very very drunken nights followed in the next couple of years before I moved out of London.

I actually  met Red Godfather in one of my first ROF drinks, which must have been like his last (he'd already pretty much stopped posting by then). Also I'm one of the few people to have met markgriffith I think (my very first ROF drinks - strangely enough -was with markgriffith and diceman somewhere in Vauxhall I think).

I've also met Spurt and all the regulars of course..
