#metoo has probably (rightly) killed off the traditional indicator of spring sightings threads on here - gone the way of the first cuckoo letters in the times (which is tragic)
Here's a good one for you PP - easy day trip from London - train to Hassocks, walk up on t'Downs at Jack and Jill windmills, head east and keep going until bearing off and down into Lewes, good choice of pubs for a pint or two of the local brew (Harvey's), train back to London.

I had a fantastic lemon meringue ice cream in Brighton earlier this month. I'm trying to get the recipe out of the restaurant.
Separately I shall be making a lemon meringue ice cream pie for my birthday. Come on, May - I can't wait!!!
