Roffing since 2007. There used to be a greater spread of topics discussed. Used to be funnier. Occasionally it still is. Lots of trolling these days which takes away lots of the fun. Fun is still there sometimes tho.

I’m back after a long hiatus.  So a long but not continuous time.  But continual.

I dropped out for a time but came back because I had a couple of questions I wanted to sound people out on.

RoF is a bit like what I imagine a QAnon site would be. A hard core of people who think alike, and who aim to drive away, with extraordinary bile and aggression, anyone who does not think just like them.

Best avoided, but occasionally entertaining.

ermm. blackletter.. some other names - that I have forgotten. The idea of nice group of like-minded folk on a forum where they can laugh, joke, exchange ideas, find support (find a job and accommodation) is appealing.

So Rof is not like that these days?

It's as dull as fook to be honest. 99% vuvutedium with a 1% degree of entertainment added by thinly disguised white supremacists like KG above.

Roffing since 2005.  A couple of hiatuses when the uber nasty shit got tedious.  It's become far more polarised and dominated by a smaller group of posters.  

Hmmm. Some nice threads on support around I see though - that's commendable.
