I really hate all the characters but have seen every episode several times because of a boy. Why are they all so fooking stupid ?? Why don't they ditch Kramer? It's infuriating!

It gets better and the stand up bits fall away I think. 

It was way ahead of its time and still holds up in parts. Julia Louis Dreyfus is amazing.

Seinfeld is one of those comics that the internet hit hard, he used to do a lot of those "you ever wonder where the other sock goes" type of routines and these days people just google and find out you dropped it

Yeah Seinfeld standup is awful. The TV show good except where he works in his had standup.

He really isn't. His standup is old school observational stuff and is now a bit naff. You could argue he helped create that genre, but it's a naff genre.

The TV show owes a lot to Larry David.

I found Curb quite crass. Too much swearing and not enough funnies.

Scrubs is better than both 

It's worth watching if only for the number of actors who appear in it before they became famous.

The stand up is crap but some of the episodes are hilarious.  I particularly like the one where his dentist (played by the guy in Breaking Bad) converts to Judaism.  That's up there with the Palestinian chicken episode in Curb.

Have you watched Scrubs recently Shooty. It doesn’t really stand the test of time despite me enjoying it first time around. 

I finished the first series, will not be bothering to watch anymore.

I never got it at the time, doubt I'd like it now.

I love Seinfeld but tbh the first season is pretty shit.

Scrubs is still unsurpassed in its ability to mix comedy and tragedy.

Seinfeld is utterly shit, its one of those shows that demonstrates that many mericans have a very very odd idea of "funny". I think lots of people pretend its ace because they have invested years watching a dull shit boring shoe that people keep telling them is funny.
