Aeroflot - wood u?

Route to Asia

£250 rtn

OK, I have flown to Moscow and to Hanoi with Aeroflot.

The main route to Moscow is fine and the planes are modern.

The flight from Moscow to Hanoi was on a heap of shit that felt like it was on the verge of falling apart. The service was shyte and the cabin crew were big surly blokes that looked like Dolph Lundgren in Rocky IV.

I vote no.

No, it was not. It was the middle of the night, everything was closed, except one bar which only took Roubles. I don't remember there being an ATM. I was there for 10 hours.

Japan Airlines is one of the safest airlines in the world, having only one catastrophic accident in its history. That was when Flight 123 flew face-first into a mountain back in 1985, taking 520 passengers with it. The company has since fired all of its kamikaze pilots and passengers can expect a relatively comfortable flight

I was probably naively under the impression that only spies and politicians went behind the iron curtain. That must have been pretty cool, if you appreciated it at the time.

I thought this was going to be about the OP’s desire for a go on their air stewardesses.

By repute their international services are OK nowadays. Domestically they may be more dodgy but then, domestically, you’re likely to have less choice...

Aeroflot are fine.

But as for Jelly's list, that's a heap of shit.

China Airlines owned by the PRC government? Um no, it's Taiwanese.

Air NZ "never lost a civilian passenger"?  Well that's be fine if you don't care about the crew on that Airbus.  And if you conveniently forget a DC-10 load of civilians slamming in Mt Erebus.
