Before you got deleted you recommended me an ultra wide screen monitor. Now that I’m fvcking minted and have the domestic finances stabilised I’d like to buy it. Was it this one? Pls remind:
I didn't recommend that particular one, no, and that's very very expensive. I think you could probably get one for a third of the price with no discernable difference, particularly for ROFing and docblozzing.
I don't really understand the appeal of the stand up desk. We have them at the office, and I have never once thought "you know what would be more comfy than slouching? standing up all day, that's what".
At home I have a very old 1980s style high backed executive gordon gecko chair that I found in the shop at the dump. It was about £5 and is so comfy I can easily snooze in it.
Possibly daft question about these massive curved screens. Can you set them up so they work as if it was two screens side by side without fuss/needing to do anything in settings that IT in a big firm won't be able to cope with/allow?
I know it's possible to set it up as a dual screen set up. I just want to be sure it's easy to do/doesn't require software/drivers that it is unlikely my firm will allow on the firm laptop before I get one. Ideally I would just need to plug in two HDMI cables and then it would work exactly like my current two screen set up does..

Slippery slope wang. This will only lead to a stand up desk, walking treadmill underneath, leather desk mat, conference speaker etc...

Wot TP said. I've often wondered if my laptop graphics card could handle another screen to take my work set up up to 4.

I've never understood the appeal of a standing desk. I thought they were for the bad back crew, of which I am not a member.

DDS why would you want to do that rather than just have windows within the screen area?

Yeah, one word doc on the left of the big screen, one on the right and it's copy and pastetastic.
