Anyone whining about the leaders of the 6th biggest economy in the world flying business class needs a slap. 'Luxury' my hairy arse, its just getting from A to B in some semblence of working order.
They obviously someone would care Barney, because firstly they edited the original picture to blur the seat number and they also photoshopped her into an economy seat.
I think the problem is that defending serious corruption for 5 years and calling things that would be a resigning matter in a normal government kind of corrodes the argument when you try to say *checks notes* that the shadow chancellor has blurred out her seat number while travelling business which was declared as paid for by a donor and is widely reported.
there was a thing a while back about Rishi wearing Saville row suits and people moaning that he should be wearing Primark and that was just ridiculous, the PM should be showing off the best of british industry etc, this is same ball park
The same people excusing Seweralla for wanting to do a private driving course to protect her from the public are criticising Reevesy for flying business.
Give the woman a break. If she was in 3K but the window is on her left then she's in a crappy old Club World rear facing seat. Hardly worthy of the "business class" label.
Christ, why would we not expect a Shadow Chancellor to be flying business class if it's a business trip? Instead of wasting 8 hours stuck in a standard sheet she can be working and/or relaxing restfully in preparation for whatever she's doing when she arrives. Can't help thinking nobody would turn a hair if this was a bloke.

Feel bad enough for her having to fly BA.
Does anyone really care if some donor funds biz class for a govt minister / future minister?

Dammit, got confused, thought this meant there were some Rachel Riley deepfakes or something and got exited.
Anyway... were they pictures of Rachel Reeves face superimposed on top of Marilyn Mansons?
Because honestly that'd be quite difficult to detect.

Warren it's about the dishonest alteration of the pictures, not the seat.

AmI she later blurred out the seat number, they didn’t ‘photoshop’ her into economy.
What next, demands for the PM to visit European leaders on Easyjet?

This is pathetic even by amigullibleoraliar's standards.
Get a life dear.

Non-story.
Bit pathetic though. It's like an inverse RoF, boasting about how poor she is.

I can understand blurring out flight number and seat number for privacy reasons pre flight.
Happy for MPs to fly business

She should be actively promoting Champagne Socialism as a lifestyle choice.
It would really wind up the "anti-woke" brigade.

I make a point of only ever flying cattle class as I'm a tight git. It's also why I don't do much air travel.

“there was a thing a while back about Rishi wearing Saville row suits”
did he ask for the finest tailoring known to man to be bowdlerised to PC World house style?
