I thought it was brilliant telly as well although if it’s realism you’re after my main gripe was that the informer wasnt just an informer, was he, keeping his ear to the ground - with no training he was put undercover to work alongside undercover officers.
maybe that was the point. Here’s this former undercover officer scarrd by the experience, I know, let’s have him pluck a member of the public at random, dont bother training him and shove him in deep with terrorists. Unless it was all explained and I missed it.
