Lol. Doesn’t mean the standards stay the same, just that uk compliant goods will have a CE mark rather than a UKCA mark.
interestingly, this is how the eu should have developed. It has been referred to as the ‘+1’ regime. Broadly, firms wanting to export within the EU should have had to follow the eu rules, but the 90pc of firms who don’t export and have no interest in doing so continue to follow just their domestic rules.
